The institute has a small reading room and is also equipped with a general computerised catalogue, which includes the images of all the inventoried works, as well as a specialised internal library.

The originals can be viewed by appointment and accompanied by a member of staff of the Gabinetto dei Disegni.

Copying Services

You can request copies of the works held by the Institute in accordance with copyright laws, by submitting a written request to be approved by the Directorate.

The use of copies for the purposes of study and personal research or for use in scientific publications is free of charge. Any commercial use is authorized upon payment of the appropriate fees, established by the Comune of Milan by Municipal decree C.N. 3175/2002 in effect from 27/12/2002 "Fees for rights to reproduce images belonging to civic institutions ".
